Lippert Electric Tread Lite Step for RVs - Single - 5 /Rise - 24 Wide - Aluminum
Question:
Will this work with a 2004 Volkswagen Winnebago Rialta HD? Has anyone installed it on a Rialta or is there another, better alternative? Thank you, Bill Pappas

These steps are usually installed in RV's that have a prepared mounting structure just under the door. You could potentially use the Lippert # LC353542 steps for your Rialta if you custom fabricated a mounting system to go under the vehicle body. It would have to be a thick and rigid support as the weight of a person stepping on the outside edge of the extended step would exert substantial leverage on the mounting system and vehicle body. I also notice that there is a flared bottom trim on the outside body panel near the bottom. You would have to determine if your step could extend underneath that or if the body would require trimming.
