For your 2014 Ram 1500 you will want to go with either the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TDR1500DQ you were looking at or the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-307-47.

If you are carrying a lot of weight all of the time then I would go with the # TDR1500DQ as it has an 8600lb weight capacity making it a much more heavy duty option, but on a truck that is not loaded with much weight it will cause a very stiff ride.

If you are only carrying a few hundred pounds in the bed then the # SSR-307-47 would be a much better option as they provide 1500lbs of support but do not affect the unloaded ride.

Either option would be just fine for towing a trailer as well.

Your truck has rear coil springs so you would not be able to add a leaf spring enhancement kit.
