Reducing Trailer and Vehicle Sway on a 2010 Ford Expedition
Question:
It looks like my expy already has a factory sway bar. Is this one more effective? I am experiencing more sway, when big vehicles pass, than I would like when towing my 27foot trailer equiped with Reese DC sway control. The hitch and sway control have all been adjusted to optimum. Thanks

Roadmaster does not offer an anti-sway bar for the 2010 Ford Expedition but I do not think that is necessarily the problem. The issue is most likely the sway control on the trailer or a weight distribution system that is not rated correctly for your set up. The trailer should not be able to sway at all with a dual-cam set up when properly installed and adjusted according to the installation instructions I have provided.
To make sure your system is rated properly you will need to first take the tongue weight of the trailer when loaded and ready to tow then add the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. The total you come up with will need to be under the maximum tongue weight capacity of the system you are using.
Something that you can add to decrease side to side body roll on the vehicle is a set of Coil SumoSprings, # CSS-1168R. Install these in the spaces between spring coils for a more comfortable ride and a decrease in body roll.
