Flat Towing Recommendations For A 2020 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited Rubicon
Question:
I am trying to use the Jeep as TOAD. I need a breaking, wiring and maybe battery charger??. Can you help me get the stuff I need for this? I have a blue ox tow bar and plan to install Tow Loops with Blue Ox adapters on bumper. Thank

For tow bar wiring I recommend the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit Item # RM-154. It's a one time setup that splices into your vehicles lighting so you don't have to carry around the magnetic lights and run them every time you want to tow.
For braking I recommend the Brake Buddy Stealth Supplemental Braking System - Proportional Item # HM39530. This braking system is a one time setup as well and also comes with a battery charger to keep your battery maintained while towing.
If you need safety cables I recommend the RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables - 6,000lbs Item # RM-643.
As for the D-Ring Mounts we offer both the Blue Ox Aftermarket Bumper Adapter - 1" Pin Item # BX88358 and Blue Ox Aftermarket Off-Road Bumper Adapter - 7/8" Pin Item # BX88357 to suit your needs.
