Which Underbed 5th Wheel Rail System and Adapter to Install AirSafe 20K Hitch in 2009 Dodge Ram 2500

Considering an AirSafe 20K hitch. Want a clean bed when the hitch is removed. The vehicle is a 2009 Dodge 2500 short bed 4X4 Quad cab I think I need the adapter and the underbed system is that correct?

You are correct that you will need an under-bed rail system and adapter to install an AirSafe 20K 5th wheel hitch in your 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 Quad Cab.

You can use the Reese Under-bed Fifth Wheel Installation Kit, part # RP30074, which is rated at 18,000 pounds. Hardware is included. I have included a video link for this part showing installation in a 2009 Ram. The under-bed rail adapter you can use is part # RP30156.

I spoke to a representative at AirSafe and he confirmed that their 20K hitch is fully compatible with the Reese adapter. Installation instructions for both parts are included.
