Trailer Wiring Harness For 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee That Does Not Require Factory Activation
Question:
Is there a harness available that will not require me to go to the dealer for activation? I looked under the rear bumper of the Jeep and there is factory wiring for a trailer hitch.

The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118727 will allow your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee to have a 4-way flat trailer connection without needing to have the factory wiring activated. It will plug into your tail light connection which will bypass the factory trailer connector.
If you are needing a 7-way the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 can also be installed with the 4-way from Tekonsha. This will allow you to wire in a 7-way and Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 without needing anything activated from the Jeep dealer.
