LED on Curt C51180 Echo Wireless Brake Controller Not Lighting  

Question:

I just received my blue tooth brake controller and it’s not lighting. I have 2013 Volvo XC60. Please help!

Is the 12-V pin in the 1:00 position on your 7-way trailer connector powered up? If not, your Curt Echo isn't getting power. You can use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to test this.

If your XC60 has the factory tow package with the 7-way trailer connector, you'll want to make sure that there's a good fuse installed in positions 15 and 11 in the fuse box in the cargo area.

If you don't have the factory 7-way, you'll need to make sure that the above-mentioned pin on the 7-way is connected to the positive battery terminal. If it's not, you'll want to use a length of # 12-1-1 wire ran through a
# 9510 circuit breaker to connect that pin to the battery.
