Does Thule T2 Pro XTR 2 Bike Carrier Clear The Spare Tire On The Back Of 2006 Honda CR-V?

Will the Thule T2 Classic bike rack clear my 2006 Honda CRV spare tire mounted on the back of the car? I have a 2 inch hitch receiver, so ordered the Thule T2 classic 2 inch online, then wondered about the spare tire issue.. thanks,

The Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount Item # TH69TX might clear the spare tire on your 2006 Honda CR-V. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole is only 7 inches when folded down and 5 inches when folded up. These measurements are down at the hitch. I would take a look at the pictures on the website to see the amount of room that you have up where your spare sits. Then you can measure straight up from the hitch to determine where your spare would hit the rack and then measure straight out from there to see how much room you need. If you can send us those two measures, we can get you a definitive answer.

Keep in mind, you likely will not be able to open the trunk door when this bike rack is installed. I attached a demonstration video for you to check out.
