Recommended Base Plate for a 2016 Subaru Forester
Question:
What suggestion you have for faceplate. I know they make them.

We definitely have base plate options available for your 2016 Subaru Forester. The Roadmaster # RM-52923-4 will be a direct fit and other than a few holes that need to be enlarged, is a bolt on application. With the removable arms, this will be nearly invisible when not in use. This would then attach to the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520. This is rated up to 6,000 pounds and will definitely cover the weight of your vehicle. The Roadmaster 68 inch Safety Cables # RM-643 would keep both of these nice and secure as well.
From here, you will need some wiring. This will depend on if you are going to be using a braking system, so I have options available with or without.
If you will be going with the braking system, the Roadmaster InvisiBrake # RM-8700 will be a great option. This will also need the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay # RM-88400 to get everything up and running on the vehicle. To get this connected to the RV, you will need the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This comes with all the wiring, diodes, and plugs needed.
If you will not be using a braking system, though we do recommend using one, the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154 will be a good option. This also comes with all the diodes and wiring needed to get up and running.
