Replacing an Axle on a Narrow Trailer
Question:
Hello, I am looking for a replacement axel for my trailer, but I think the smallest axel you carry is too long. Here are some measurements I have taken: center of fender to center of opposite fender= 50, The outer edge of the frame to the outer edge of the opposite frame =39 3/4, center of the spring to center of opposite spring is 37 1/2. I believe the wheel is a 5 on 4 1/2. Would any of your axels work for my trailer? Thanks

With the measurements you provided, unfortunately we will not have a through axle available for your trailer. However, we do have a Timbren Axle-Less System that may suite your needs. The # ASR2KHDS01 will not require spring seats and as long as the hub face measures 6 inches to the frame, it would be a great option. This does not come with hubs, though, so you would also need to get two of the Dexter Idler Hubs # 84545UC1-EZ.
