Recommended Bike Rack for etrailer brand e98865 Class III Hitch on 2015 GMC Terrain
Question:
Hi, can you recommend a bike rack or two for this hitch e98865 that will go on my 2015 GMC Terrain? I want a bike rack that preferably swings away from the hatch door for easy opening or that at least s down so I can easily open the hatch. Thanks

For a swinging type bike rack that allows 100% access to the rear of the vehicle, I'd recommend the RockyMounts BackStage, part # RKY10002 which can handle 2 bikes weighing up to 60 lbs each with tires up to 5 inches wide, as long as the bikes DO NOT have fenders.
For a hanging type bike rack with a 4 bike capacity for bikes weighing up to 35 lbs apiece that offers 100% access to the rear of the vehicle, the SportRack # SR2415 Ridge Swing would be a good option.
We might have other options that could work very well for you, if you'd care to reply and tell me how many bikes you want to carry and what types of bikes they are, I'd be happy to make some more specific recommendations.
Both racks mentioned would work great with the # e98865 hitch you'd mentioned. I've linked to demonstration videos for the bike racks mentioned above.
