Which Tonneau Cover Will Fit My 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 With The MultiPro TailGate?

Im looking for a Tonneau Cover for my 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 with Multipro tailgate I want one with front panel opening, low profile with locks What problem does Extang Encore and others run into with the Multipro Tailgate Any other suggestions would be helpful Thanks

I got in touch with Extang and they said that the Extang Encore Hard Folding Tonneau Cover will not work with the 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 with MultiPro Tailgate. This is because the Encore's rails will interfere with the way the MultiPro Tailgate functions and it is not recommended to use this cover with your application.

If your truck has the 5-3/4' bed then there is not a tonneau cover available that allows you to open it at the cab of the truck. Instead, I would go with Lomax Hard Tonneau Cover - Folding - Aluminum - Matte Black # A65FR which is a really nice hard folding cover that will be locked when the tailgate is closed and locked. You can also get this bed cover for the 6-1/2' bed # LO69FR. For the 6-1/2' bed there is a cover that can be opened at the cab of the truck and it is the TruXedo Deuce 2 Soft Tonneau Cover Roll Up - Vinyl # TX773201. This is a soft roll up cover and it does not lock.

If you have the 8' bed then the BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover Folding Matte Finish # BAK448132 would fit just fine. This is a hard folding cover but it does not have the ability to open at the cab. When the tailgate is closed and locked, the cover will also be locked. If you want a cover that opens at the cab then you are limited to the TruXedo Deuce 2 Soft Tonneau Cover Roll Up - Vinyl # TX772801 which is the 8' version of the soft roll up cover mentioned above. I attached several demonstration videos for you to check out regarding these covers. All of the covers mentioned above are compatible with the MultiPro Tailgate
