Do You Have a Recommended Platform Electric Bike Rack for 63 Pound Bikes with Fenders?

Question:

I keep going in circles. It seems the better bike racks hold down the bike by the tires and my ebikes have fenders. The prices are high, but Northern Tool bike rack can carry 200 lbs 2 bikes total for $200. I have 2inch hitch on 2019 Honda Ridgeline pickup. I want to carry 2 Lectric ebikes, one mens, one womans, 63lb each, wheelbase 43, wheel size 20, wheel diameter 2. What is your recommendation? I know I can remove the 7lb battery to reduce the bike weight from 63 to 56 lbs but I know I do not want to do this. Also tempted to go with Northern Tool and make modifcations to beef it up.

For your specifications, I recommend the Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # S94FR. The great thing about this rack is that is has a great weight capacity (70 pounds maximum per bike). With this capacity, you can easily keep the batteries mounted to the bikes. The E-Spec also has built-in keyed-alike locks that will help deter theft as well. I highly recommend getting a hitch rack that attaches at the frame in order to guarantee that they will not damage the bikes' fenders. The good thing about the E-Spec is that the ratcheting hooks are customized to fit at whatever fastening length you need for the frame (as opposed to straps that have pre-formed holes at various lengths).
