What Length Crossbars Needed for Thule Hullavator on 2021 Nissan Rogue?

The Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898 will fit on Malone AirFlow2 bars # MPG215. The question is, what length bars on your vehicle will work best?

The Hullavator Pro # TH898 requires 4-8 inches of overhang past your vehicle. For your 2021 Nissan Rogue, the ideal fit are the 50" long crossbars # MPG215, but as you can see in the attached video, they are low-profile with minimal overhang. Usually, people like this fit, but it won't work for the Hullavator.

What I am concerned about is how the Nissan Rogue's raised rails are place so far away from the edge of the vehicle. If you could measure from the end of the rail to the end of the side of the car, that will give you you an idea for how much overhang you need. The Malone AirFlow2 # MPG216 is 58" long while the Malone AirFlow2 # MPG217 is 65" long. The 65" crossbar will give you about 9" of overhang past the feet and the 58" will give you about 6". These measurement are based of the 2019 Nissan Rogue, and measuring your roof space on your own vehicle will be more accurate.

For that reason, I recommend the Malone AirFlow2 # MPG216 58" long crossbars for you, but please check first that you have enough clearance at the side of your vehicle for the Hullavator to drop down.
