Yes. You will need to loosen the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer for 2" Hitches - Vinyl Coated Steel # e99007 when you are needing to change out the accessories in your trailer hitch receiver, and then re-tighten it to keep your accessory from rattling.

Typically the only time you will need to replace the strap is when you notice that it is becoming frayed. Typically the first 2 feet of the strap will become frayed first due to sunlight or just the fact that it sees the most movement.
