It sounds like you are wanting to install a trailer brake controller on a 2015 Ford F-150 with factory 4-way trailer connector. If that's the case then all the wires you need for the brake controller are already ran under the dash and you can simply use a plug-in harness. I recommend the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller part # TK90160 with Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 22292.

The only wiring that will need to be done is at the trailer connector. The 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket with Wiring Harness part # HM40975-11998 would be best, just cut off the 4-way and wire it to this harness. Then, pull the power and brake wires from the driver frame rail.
