Best Roof Rack Recommendation for a 2019 Toyota Highlander

Which system do you recommend if I want the sturdiest, quietest, most aerodynamic base that will support accessories to mount two bikes or paddleboards or kayaks? And with respect to these accessories what would you recommend for my naked roof?

The Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00425 (black) will give you the peace and quiet and aerodynamic wind resistance you need. My research on your 2019 Toyota Highlander revealed that your vehicle has either flush factory rails or naked roofs.
On your naked roof, in addition to the bars, you will need:
- BaseLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars - Naked Roofs # Y28TR
- BaseClip Fit Kit for Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Towers # Y06130 (you will need to order two sets of these)
For mounting two bikes on your rack, I recommend two RockyMounts BrassKnuckles Roof Mounted Bike Rack - Wheel Mount # RKY1201 because it has ratcheting straps that attach to the wheels instead of the bike frame. The rack also allows for Bike Lock Cores # RKY0332 for extra security to deter theft of your bikes.
For mounting paddleboards or kayaks on the rack, I recommend the Thule Compass Kayak and SUP Carrier # TH890000. This carrier lets you transport 2 kayaks or SUPs on your roof rack crossbars. It also comes with all the necessary tie-down straps.
