Recommended Rear Suspension Enhancement For 1990 Ford F-250 W/ Curt Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
I have a 1990 F-250 HD standard cab with the overload springs and a curt hide-a-ball gooseneck. Will there be any installation issues or special mods needed for me to add this airbag system or a different one to my truck? My trailer grosses just over 15k.

I have another option for you, but the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57298 you were looking at will not fit your 1990 Ford F-250 with the Curt Gooseneck hitch installed.
One option is the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle # AL88298 which are confirmed to fit your truck, but you will likely need to drill a few holes in the mounting bracket of your Curt Gooseneck hitch which would void the warranty of the hitch and possibly the air helper springs.
The other option is the SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit # SSA22 which will fit your truck perfectly, offers 2200lbs of load leveling support while also reducing sway and eliminating axle wrap, and will not interfere with your Gooseneck hitch. This is the option I recommend as it requires no modification to your gooseneck hitch or vehicle.
I included a few video reviews for you to take a look at.
