Recommended Weight Distribution System To Replace Older Weight Distribution Hitch
Question:
Ihave an older reese wd hitch system. I am looking for new trunions, because the bottoms appear to be worn flat. The bars measure 1 1/4 inch and the trunions have a part number 21210 Y with a 1000 lb rating stamped on it. Is this part available?

I have a replacement weight distribution system option, but I reached out to my contact at Reese and the new trunnions and spring bars will unfortunately not fit in your older system due to the new components being a different size.
Instead I recommend replacing the system with the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 10K GTW, 1K TW # RP66559 which works with total tongue weights between 500-1000lbs and would be a great replacement for your older system.
I included a video of the # RP66559 for you to take a look at.
