What Prevents the Thule Raceway from Fitting on Honda Fit Sport Models
Question:
Hi, I already have a bike rack Thule Trunk Bike Racks - TH9002. I will soon buy a used Honda Fit 2009-2010. I notice that the sport models are not compatible with my bike rack, is it because of the rear spoiler? If I buy a standard model Honda DX, LX with a rear spoiler already installed, do I end up with the same problem as the sports model of the Honda Fit? I really like the Thules Raceway trunk-mounted 3-bike rack and I rather keep it for my future car. I ask this because in the manual Thules Raceway, it indicates that models from 2007 to 2010 are OK without rear spoiler ?. I prefer not buy a vehicle not suitable for my bike rack. Thanks

The problem with the Honda Fit Sport models is the rear spoiler, that is what prevents your Thule OutWay Trunk Mounted Bike Carrier # TH9002 from being compatible.
If you can find a Honda Fit without a rear spoiler then your # TH56BV would work well on it. Or you could use the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top Rack # HRF2-3 which will circumvent the spoiler.
