Where Do I Cut My Bumper to Install an etrailer Hitch on My 2013 Toyota RAV4?

Question:

The notes indicate you have to cut the fascia for installation of this bumper. I see many mentioned but no information or pictures on what area of the fascia would need to be cut or how it should be cut and best method to cut it and make it look professional. I like the tongue weight aspect of the hitch but I dont want to make an ugly mess of my vehicle. Do you have images showing the cut out area or even an image of the bumper with a transposed dotted line that can show the area that would need to be cut with measurements possibly. If no cutting is required, I am not sure why it would mention that. Thank you

For your 2013 Toyota RAV4, you will not need to cut the bumper fascia to install the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit # e98864 if you have a factory bumper. I went ahead and attached a video of an installation of the hitch to a RAV4.
