Additional Relay Needed to Activate Running Lights on a 2009 Nissan Frontier
Question:
I have 2009 Nissan Frontier and installed a hitch and wiring and may have not bought the right wiring kit. I installed #118263 and all works great except the taillights. No taillights on the trailer tester. Is all I still need is this relay #38666-1?

On some Nissan vehicles, including the Frontier, you will need an additional relay, like one of the blue relays in the Curt Relay Kit # C57000, if it is not present in the fuse panel in the cab of the vehicle. You can consult the owner's manual to determine the exact location of all fuses and relays in that panel.
If your Frontier did not come with a trailer connector the harness that you would use is # C56225 that comes with 3 relays.
