Troubleshooting No Hot Wire After Tekonsha 7-Way Install on 2017 Honda Pilot

Question:

I have a 2017 Honda Pilot Elite without two package. I have added 118286 Tekonsha T-1 Connector - 7 Pole, 3070-P Tekonsha Brake Control Wiring Adapter, and 90195 Tekonsha Prodigy P-3 Proportional Trailer Brake Control. Everything is working well...except, I dont believe there is a hot wire out from the car to the trailer. When we first picked up the trailer, the batteries were dead. When we hooked up, we had power to the trailer lights and to the trailer electric brakes but there was no pass through power to the trailer. So the interior lights in the trailer wouldnt come on, and most importantly the electric jack on the trailer wouldnt work. So I dont think there is a hot wire out from the car to the trailer which would be good to have to run the jack when the trailer batteries are dead, run the 12v refrigerator when travelling, and keep the trailer batteries charged. Is there something else I need to run from the battery back to the harness and/or trailer?

Sounds like there's an issue with the fuse that came with the # 118286 which was supposed to install in the 11 slot of your fuse box and activate the circuit that currently isn't working. Verify that you installed a fuse in that slot and that it's not blown and the circuit should activate.
