Should Used Trailers Tires be Replaced
Question:
Bought a used fifth wheel 11k weight . Tires are out “date” but look perfect not a single crack in any of the four inside or or outside walls. Replace or run with them

Trailer tires like the Westlake ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range E # LHWL304 can last about 6 years, but regardless of their shape should be replaced if they are older than that as they can break down.
Additionally, having good tires on your trailer is one of the easiest things you can do to improve the safety of your trip and keep your rig's suspension in top shape as you'll get a balanced ride and less overall wear (plus, having a blowout is just no fun at all).
For a used trailer, unless you're certain about the tires being in top shape, I definitely recommend getting a new set to ensure your trailer stays in the best possible condition and you have the safest trip.
