Troubleshooting K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors That Folded In When Passing A Semi Truck
Question:
Has anyone had the experience on a 2 lane road where the mirror was folded in by the passing semi? How do you stop that from happening?

I have not seen any customer feedback stating that the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors # KS3891-2 have folded in when a semi truck passes by in the opposite direction, although I can see a big rig doing so if the tow mirrors were not completely tightened and secured to your factory mirrors.
If the tow mirror itself folded in then I would make sure the screw on the back of the tow mirror is tight to reduce movement - do not overtighten since the housing is plastic. Also make sure that the ratcheting straps are tightened correctly around your factory mirror for a snug fit.
If the actual mirror on your vehicle folded in with the tow mirror attached to it, then it sounds like you may have an issue with your factory mirrors and they could need repaired or replaced. If you are still having issues with this after making sure everything is tight, then feel free to let me know and I will look into the issue furthermore.
