The important factor to consider when choosing a weight distribution system is the loaded tongue weight of your towing setup. The loaded tongue weight includes the loaded and ready to tow tongue weight of your trailer plus the weight of any cargo that is loaded in your truck bed behind the rear axle. Once you find the loaded tongue weight of your setup, you will want to choose a weight distribution system with a tongue weight range that encompasses your loaded tongue weight.
I have attached an FAQ article on how to determine your tongue weight for you to check out.
The Pro Series Weight Distribution System, # PS49582, that you referenced has a tongue weight range of 550 lbs to 750 lbs. The tongue weight of a travel trailer is typically calculated to be 10 to 15 percent of the gross trailer weight. If your trailer is loaded to 4,500 lbs, the tongue weight of your trailer could be anywhere between 450 lbs to 675 lbs. You will then want to add the weight of any cargo in your truck bed loaded behind the rear axle. If the loaded tongue weight is less than 750 lbs, then this system will work well for you.
If you find that your loaded tongue weight will be more than 750 lbs, then I recommend stepping up to the next size system, part # PS49583. This system has a tongue weight range of 750 lbs to 1,000 lbs. Both of these systems are great economical options to help distribute weight and combat sway when towing your trailer.
A system that I recommend looking at is the Reese Steadi-Flex system part # RP66559. This system uses integrated sway control and there is no drilling required if you want sway control. This system has a tongue weight range of 500 lbs to 1,000 lbs. The hitch balls are not included with the Reese systems, so for a 2 inch ball you will also need part # A-90 or for a 2-5/16 inch ball, # 19286.
