The Curt Trailer Connector Adapter - 4-Way Flat to 5-Way Flat - Vehicle End # C57187 is exactly what you need to be able to tow your boat trailer with a 5-way flat.
The 5th pin of the 5-way is typically used to power the reverse lockout solenoid of the surge brake actuator so you do not have the brakes applying while you are trying to back up.
The # C57187 will plug into the existing 4-way connector on your tow vehicle, and the blue wire will need to be installed on the reverse light wire with the included quick splice. Using a circuit tester like # PTW80157 will help you find the correct wire.
When you need to tow your camper with a 4-way flat you can plug it into the 5-way adapter as it will still fit fine, or if you would rather, you can remove the adapter when you are done towing your boat trailer.
I included a video of the # C57187 for you to take a look at.
