Recommendations for Reducing Sag While Towing a Trailer

Question:

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle. Can I easy slip the spacers in and out to maintain the nice ride the truck has w/o weight? I’m looking at the 1500# version as I pull a 15k gvw dump trailer that really sags the rear end of my 2019 F150 4x4 super cab even w 1/2 the load capacity.

The SumoSprings # SSR-117-47 will definitely help with sag when towing, but they are not the best if you want easy access or adjustability. As these replace the factory jounces, basically once they are installed, they are left alone.

That being said, if you wanted something with more adjustability, I highly recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2582. These can adjust from 5 psi, making them feel close to nonexistent, all the way up to 100 psi, giving you very solid support when needed. You could also add on a Firestone Air-Command Compressor like the # F2610 for on the fly adjustments to the air springs.
