Fitment of Solera RV Slide-Out Awning

Question:

I am looking at the LCI Solera slideout awning in black. One of my slides measures 7 and 8 1/4 inches wide at the flanges, the other 8 foot and 8 1/4 inches. What sizes would I order?

For determining the proper size Solera Slider you need, measure the total width of your slide room from the outside including the flange then add a minimum of 5" (2-1/2" each for the left/right side overhang). You can have greater than 2-1/2" overhang if you want. Since you have done so with resulting measurements of 92.25" you are looing for an awning of 97.25". You can go beyond the overhang of 2.5" each side if you choose, no worries, but the overhang is wanted to keep debris from getting underneath.

I recommend the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 8'7" Wide - 48" Projection - Black, # LCV000168108 and White, # LCV000163290. These two options have an actual fabric width of 103" providing slightly greater than the suggested 2-1/5" minimum.
