Will Trailer Wheels Handle Additional Pressure if Load Range is Switched from C to E
Question:
I have a 2012 Rockwood Windjammer that has Trail Express ST225x75Rx15 Load Range C installed. These are looking dry rotted and one loses air. I have found a better ion of tires in a load range E, but see that there is a much higher operating pressure than what is currently on the trailer. Can I install a Load Range E?

If the trailer wheels you have are rated to handle the higher 80psi pressure of a ST225/75-15 tire, which they certainly should be, you'll have no problems going with going with a Load Range E tire which has a 2830 lb per tire/5660 lb per axle capacity. Trailer wheels are typically designed to handle the pressure of any tire that will fit on them.
I'd recommend the Taskmaster Provider ST225/75-15 radial tire, part # TR225LRE. The unique feature of this tire is that it is designed with an automotive type tread featuring sipes that help channel wire around the tire which is helpful in wet weather.
