Do I Need the Furrion FR87PR Power Adapter Towing Sprinter Trailer with 2020 Ram 2500
Question:
I have a 2020 Ram 2500. Im pulling a 36 foot Sprinter that is pre-wired for a Furrion system. Will I need the additional power adapter?

If you're just installing the backup camera on your Sprinter using the # FOS43TASF, then you won't need to use the # FR87PR. Typically issues with the TPIM are only seen on Chevy/GMC trucks and some older Ram models; it also only comes into play when you're using a system with the side marker cameras like the # FCE48TASL-05.
There's also a more permanent fix with the PWM Filter # VGR64VR, which splices in behind the camera to provide a steady current for the camera.
