How To Choose Correct Flexible Brake Hose for Brake Actuator

Question:

What length of flexible brake hose would you recommend to be paired with a Fulton folding hitch that will pivot 12inch behind the surge brake connection? Second do you know what size fitting is required for a Tie-Down Actuator Model 66 with back-up Solenoid? I cannot find that information online anywhere and want to pair up the correct fitting size. Thank-you for the assistance

Helpful Expert Reply:

The fitting on the back of a brake actuator should be a 3/16". Therefore, all you'll need to know is the distance from the actuator to the tee fitting. This would be different for each application swing away adapter or not so I cannot exactly info of this for you. The Kodiak Hydraulic Brake Hose part # bh-3mfs-7 is 7' long for example. There can also be unions added if you need to extend or you can choose a different length from the list below.
