Troubleshooting 2011 Ford Factory Brake Controller Not Activating Trailer Brakes
Question:
2011 Ford F-350 with factory brake controller. Brakes will not work with pedal. Works about a third with manual override. Also the hot wire to charge battery in trailer not hot Checked fuses and circuit breakers

Does the third brake light still work? Sometimes this issue is as easy as replacing a blown third brake light fuse. But otherwise it sounds like the brake controller is shot and would need to be replaced. An easy replacement would be the Brake EVN # TK63VR with the install harness # 3034-P and you'd be set.
