Alternate Ways to Install a Ground Wire
Question:
My utility trailer is made of 1/4 inch steel frame with a 4 sided 1/4 inch steel tongue. How can I ground to the trailer as sheet metal screws wont screw into the steel? Thank you.

If you do not have the ability to install standard sheet metal screws, there are a couple things you can do.
You can drill holes in the sheet metal for the bolts to go through. You would then use a lock washer and nut on the other side to secure everything.
You could also weld the ground on, but this would not be the best solution as electronic components due end up needing to be replaced on occasion.
The last option would be to run the ground wire to something that is already bolted or screwed to the frame and put something like the Deka Ring Terminal # DW05741-1 in between so it is sandwiched and has a solid connection.
