Will the Curt 18118 Roof Rails Fit on a 2018 Volvo XC90 and Work With Factory Cargo Box

Question:

My volvoinch brand roof top carrier has 5pt screws to secure each of the four corners to the two side rails. These screws have stripped and i can no longer turn them. Looks like the C18118 kit could be used to replace the original cross bars that came with the Volvo carrier. Will the Uinch clamp off the Volvo rails fit around the Curt cross bars?

The Curt Roof Rack for Raised Side Rails - Aluminum - Black - 53-3/8" Long # C18118 are a confirmed fit on the 2018 Volvo XC90 and will replace your factory roof rack system. When it comes to them fitting your Volvo cargo carrier, in most cases those carriers will fit most aftermarket crossbars in addition to the factory bars. The bars on the Curt roof rack are 2-1/8" wide x 7/8" tall, so you'll just want to confirm that the mounting hardware on the Volvo box will fit on that dimension of crossbars.

If you find that your box will only fit on bars smaller than that and can provide me with a photo and the dimensions of the mounting hardware on the cargo box, I'm happy to see if we can work up an alternative for you.
