Slider Fifth Wheel Hitch that Can Fit Curt X5 Gooseneck Adapter
Question:
I have a 2019 chevy 3500 shortbox, it has a Curt gooseneck setup, so I bought the C16220. The center of the pin is about 6 in. forward of the center of the axle. Im looking for a recommendation for a slider. I dont want an auto slider. Id probably want 12inch travel. Thanks

The Curt X5 part # C16220 is a fifth wheel rail kit adapter that does fit your Curt gooseneck and will allow you to use a manual slider hitch like you are wanting as well like the Reese slider hitch part # RP30075 which is a round tube slider that will move back 11 inches. Since it's a round tube slider it will operate a bit smoother than a square tube.
