Which Curt Weight Distribution System to Use with 2020 R-Pod 190
Question:
I have a 2016 F 150 4wd truck and a 2020 R pod 190. I have the opportunity to purchase a used Curt 17301 distribution hitch. Is this a good match and if so do I need a sway bar, do you sell them separate and please provide a part #. Thank you

Expert Reply:
I looked up your 2020 R-Pod 190 and it would have a lower tongue weight than what the rating of the Curt # 17301 has so this would not be an ideal system for you. It would give you a pretty harsh ride quality.
For a similar hitch with the appropriate tongue weight range the part # FA92-00-0800 would be what you'd need.
Friction sway control is included.
