Determining The Correct Weight Distribution Hitch For Towing 7500lb GVWR Trailer W/ 2010 Ford F-150
Question:
I am looking at getting a curt trutrack WDH. My question is do I need 8000 pound or 10000 pound? I will be towing with a 2010 Ford f-150 Supercrew Lariat 5.4. I have attached a photo of camper info for reference.

I would be happy to help you you find the correct Curt TruTrack weight distribution hitch for your trailer that you will be towing with your 2010 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Lariat with the 5.4L V8, but you will need to confirm the total tongue weight of your setup as this is different than the figures in the picture you provided.
Total tongue weight is the tongue weight of your fully loaded and ready to tow trailer plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your F-150. The easiest way to get an accurate tongue weight rating is with a tongue weight scale like the # e99044 but there are other methods outlined in the included help article.
Based on the picture you provided your trailer has a GVWR of 7500lbs, and since tongue weight is typically 10-15% of the trailer weight if you are fully loading your trailer you should expect to see 750-1125lbs of tongue weight.
The Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # C17500 you were looking at is rated for 800-1000lbs tongue weight so if your total tongue weight falls in this range this would be a great option.
If you find your total tongue weight is over 1000lbs then I recommend stepping up to the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 15,000 lbs GTW, 1,500 lbs TW # C17501 that is designed for total tongue weights between 1000-1500lbs.
If you can confirm your total tongue weight I would be happy to confirm the best system for you.
I included a few videos of the Curt TruTrack systems for you to take a look at.
