No Power After Installing The Tekonsha PowerTrac Electronic Brake Controller On A 2014 Toyota Tundra
Question:
Ordered the Tekonsha PowerTrac Electronic Brake Controller - 1 to 2 Axles - Time Delayed Item # 39523 and applicable Toyota Tundra compatible wiring harness. I installed the harness, grounded it to the same plate in the installation video and hooked up the controller and I am not getting any indication of power. I checked for blown fuses and did not have any. Where can I go from here? I would like to know if there is an issue with my truck or with the controller/harness itself.

It seems like there is something preventing the power from going through to the Brake Controller # 3025-P. Was the TOW BRK fuse present? It is a 30 amp fuse and supplies the power to the black wire going to the tow connector. If the fuse isn't present or is broke, replace or insert it. If the fuse is present, check your ground wire with a tester # PT29ZR. If you're still having issues after doing these things then let me know and we can troubleshoot more.
