Is there a Roof Rack Available for a 2021 Hyundai Tucson with a Panoramic Sunroof

Question:

I maybe have one last question: I’ve been looking at the “Yakima EXO Swing Away Enclosed Cargo Carrier”. Would that work if I also got the “SeaSucker Mini Bomber Rack-2 Bikes”? This avoids the roof rack altogether and also gives me the enclosed storage. Thank you again for the help!

You are correct in that roof racks for the 2021 Hyundai Tucson are not compatible with the panoramic sunroof.

However, there still may be options available to you for your accessories. For example, if you are looking to transport some bikes, you can use a trunk-mounted carrier like the Yakima FullBack 3 Bike Rack, part # Y02633. I've linked to a video review of it below.

Or, if you wanted a cargo carrier, you could combine a hitch and a hitch-mounted cargo carrier. For the hitch, you can use the Curt Class III, part # C13240, and for the carrier we have the 20 X 47 Reese, part # 63155. I've linked to video reviews of these as well.

While we don't have a cargo carrier that is compatible with your current bike rack, we do have a combination bike rack and cargo carrier available. The Yakima EXO Swing Away 2 Bike Rack w/ Cargo Carrier - 2" Hitches # Y54ZR has a 23" X 60" cargo carrier and a 2-bike rack.

The Yakima EXO Swing Away Enclosed Cargo Carrier - 2" Hitches # Y62VR, in combination with the SeaSucker Mini Bomber Rack-2 Bikes, part # 298-BM2006, is a great solution for you! Keep in mind, though, that while the Mini Bomber is on your roof, you won't be able to open your sunroof. Of course, taking this carrier off of your roof is a very simple process, so it should be a problem for times when you want the sunroof open but don't need the bikes.
