Parts Needed to Install Brake Controller on 2008 Toyota Highlander
Question:
I have purchased and installed DrawTite hitch #75726. I intend to tow a small Rv travel Trailer less than 5000 pounds. The Trailer brakes will require a seven pin connector. What proportional controller would you recommend and what wiring harnesses will I require. The drivers cockpit has an airbag under the steering wheel which may limit the mounting options for a controller Also, do you know if the seven pin connector will mount directly to the DrawTite mounting bracket that is part of the hitch? Thanks in advance,

To convert the 4-way of your 2008 Toyota Highlander to a 7-way and install a brake controller you'd need the part # ETBC7 which comes with everything you'd need and has a bracket that will bolt up to the welded on wiring bracket of the # 75726 you have.
Since you have limited room on your dash due to the air bag setup like you mentioned a brake controller like the Redarc Tow Pro Elite # RED44FR would be a great option as it allows you to only have to mount a small knob on the dash or center console.
