I spoke with my contact at Roadmaster and he told me that the Brake-Lite Relay, # RM-88400, will not interfere with auto start feature on your 2013 Honda CR-V. The Brake-Lite Relay connects to the blue brake light wire wire coming from the brake light switch that powers the brake lights. It does not connect to the circuit that shuts off your engine to prevent theft.
When installing the Brake-Lite Relay on your vehicle, you will want to follow the Standard (Normally Open) Installation procedure. I have attached a wiring diagram and steps for you to check out.
