Today we're going to take a look at this isolator film for the Curt gooseneck trailer hitches in aluminum truck beds. Now this part number is for this piece of isolator film that's designed to help prevent galvanic corrosion between your aluminum truck bed, and your steel gooseneck trailer hitch. This does install easily over the hitch ball hole and onto the gooseneck hitch platform prior to installing the hitch.It is designed to work with the Curt double lock EZR, double lock, Quick Goose 2 and the OEM style Ram under bed gooseneck trailer hitches. All those hitches we do sell separately. I happened to pull one of the Curt double lock design hitches and put it all together. This is what it's going to look like before it goes up to underneath your truck bed.
So what you want to do with this film, it has this adhesive backing to help keep the film in place. You just peel that off and then you'll drop it over the ball and press it into place onto the top of the hitch.It is a durable polyurethane construction. It is about, put a measurement on this, about 11-1/2 inches long. The width on it is right at about 6-1@ inches wide. And a thickness is about eight mils thick.
And again, you just peel off the backing, put it over the ball hole, press it onto the gooseneck hitch, and then when you go to install it'll give you a barrier there between the aluminum constructed bed, and the steel constructed hitch. But that should do it for the review on the isolator film for the Curt gooseneck trailer hitches in the aluminum truck bets.

Fit and finish are excellent and work as expected. I would be cautious with measuring for the hole in the bed, depending on what if any bedliner is installed. In my 2018 F150 the factory spray in bedliner was thinner than the measurement in the instructions. This resulted in the hole being off center by 1/8". This is not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of, and is the responsibility of the installer. I Regularly pull a 9800 pound fifth wheel camper and gooseneck dump box with no issues.
