Slide Topper Awning Ordering Widths

Question:

My slide out is 121foot from outer flange to outer flange. Your instructions say to add a least 2 1/2foot over hang to each side, which would be 126foot of fabric. We want a white topper, can you tell me which topper I need.

Expert Reply:

If your slide out, at its widest point (measured at the outside of the flanges/T-molding) is 12'-1" then I would recommend the next size up. Having a couple of inches on each side is helpful.

In this case I would select the Lippert/Solera # LCV000177334 (black) or # LCV000163298 (white) which measures 12'-6" wide.

If it were me, I would install the Alpha Systems # AL28FJ butyl tape between the awning rail and camper body.
