Can Furrion RV Power Panel FDP12WABL Be Used with Manager30 Converter

Question:

I have a travel trailer that I’m looking to upgrade the power system of. It currently has a WFCO 8735 distribution panel with an integrated converter that cannot be upgraded for Lithium batteries, so I’m planning to replace the whole unit. I want to use a Redarc Manager30 to charge the battery, as it will allow me to also integrate solar power and direct charging from my tow vehicle and also let me keep my AGM battery for now, but easily upgrade to lithium in the future. It looks like it should be possible to wire in a Manager30 with the FDP12WABL in place of a Furrion converter, with the battery between the Manager30 and the converter input on the board, and essentially leave the rest of the electrical system as it is. Is there any reason to think that wouldn’t work? Or perhaps a better solution to integrating a Manager30 into my system?

You can use the Manager30 Battery Management System part # RED88FR with the Furrion panel part # FDP12WABL which would give a way to run the charge to your batteries with an AGM profile or a Lithium profile.

The Manager30 would plug right into the panel as it was designed for a converter like this.
