Parts Needed to Add Yakima Round Bar Roof Rack to 2020 Honda CR-V With Naked Roof

Have new CRV naked roof. Have older round Yakima bars. What parts do I need to accommodate these bars to make complete rack? What will weight limit be? Do we need new bars? Thank you!

Expert Reply:
You should be able to use your Yakima round crossbars to your 2020 Honda CR-V with a naked roof, so long as they are the right size in order to ensure there is enough room for them to cross the top of your vehicle, but also so they aren't so long they stick way out on the sides and become a hazard for people walking by.
So you'll want to measure your crossbars to make sure you have the right size, as they should be the 48 inch bars. Here is exactly what you will need for a round bar Yakima roof rack for your 2020 Honda CR-V with a naked roof:
- Round 48" Crossbars for Yakima Roof Rack System # Y00408
