Which Jounce-Style Suspension Enhancement System Should I Install On My 2015 Toyota Tundra?

Question:

Hi Guys, Have a 2015 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition, 4 WD. Sorry about a question with part of the equation missing. 1,100 pound or 1,500 pound Sumo springs. The missing part is the tongue weight, for we do not have a travel trailer yet. Assuming 700 lb tongue weight and 300 pounds behind rear axle would the 1,100 or 1,500 lb springs be best option? Or say 1,100 pounds of weight on the 1,100 pound springs. Would that max them out or be just right? Thank You

Since you are already thinking you may meet or exceed the 1,000lb weight capacity of the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-610-40 then I recommend just going with the 1,500lb SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-610-47 to be on the safe side. That way if you decide to add some cargo to the travel trailer or have an unusual load in the bed of your truck you will not have to worry about maxing out the jounce springs which could damage them.

These springs offer a simple bolt-on installation process and will replace your factory bump stops. They will not make contact with your axle until sufficient weight is added to the truck, leaving you with the factory ride quality when your truck is unloaded. I attached an installation video for a Tacoma as we do not currently have a video for the Tundra, but it will be a very similar process.
