Should I Use Timbren Or SumoSprings Suspension Enhancement On My 2020 Nissan Titan Pro-4X?

Question:

I have a 2020 Nissan Titan Pro4X, I haul a 6500 lbs TT empty with an Equalizer hitch. I have concerns with the squishy suspension and the sag even with the hitch set up properly. I am looking at either product and they both have roughly the same reviews. Although the Timbrens are reviewing stiffer, and the Sumos are reviewing less stiffer. I am essentially looking to reduce the sag about an inch or so, so the WDH doesnt have to be torqued as much and reducing the sag. My TT tongue wt is roughly 700 lbs. at 25 ft long. Any help would be appreciated.

You are on the right track in looking for jounce springs, as this will reduce your Titan's rear sag and also improve the overall handling of the truck while reducing body roll. Jounce springs are also very easy to install and require no maintenance, unlike air bags. When deciding between Sumo Springs and Timbren, it really comes down to how much weight you will be adding to the bed of your truck.

It sounds like SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SS95GR is the kit for you. This has a max weight capacity of 1,500lbs which includes the 700lb tongue weight of your travel trailer and also any weight behind the rear axle in the bed of the truck. If you are planning on adding cargo weighing 800lbs or more to the bed of your truck then you will instead want to go with the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System - Rear Axle # TNRTTNB. This system is rated for up to 6,000lbs and will be slightly stiffer than the SumoSprings due to the heavy-duty design.

Both systems offer a simple bolt-in installation process. I attached a couple demonstration videos for you to check out.
