If your 2010 Ford F-150 came with a factory 7-way connector you will be able to use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way and 4-Pole Flat Connectors # C55774 you were looking at.
If your F-150 did not come with a factory 7-way connector you will need to use the # ETBC7 if your truck has a 4-way connector already installed, or the 4 Pole # 18252 and # ETBC7 if your truck did not come with a factory trailer connector.
The # ETBC7 will plug into your 4-way connector and will require a few more connections which are as follows: Black wire to positive terminal of battery with included 40 amp circuit breaker, White wire grounded to frame, Blue wire to dash where trailer brake controller will be mounted.
If you are not needing a trailer brake controller you can just tape up the blue wire, and leave it for if you do add a trailer brake controller in the future.
If you are needing a trailer brake controller I recommend adding the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 as it is our most popular controller due to its extreme reliability and great features like an easy to read LCD screen, and built in diagnostics that are easy to read and understand. If your truck has the factory 7-way or 4-way connector you can use the Plug-in adapter # 22292 to plug into the factory trailer brake controller port underneath the dash of your truck.
I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
