Can Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch For 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude Flex an Inch

Question:

So i bought this model for my 2019 Grand Cherokee Altitude and its short about an inch on the sides to connect the bolts. To try to instal it would be hard and will have to flex the hitch to try to get the bolts in. I could see if it was like a 1/4 inch off but not a inch. did i get the wrong hitch or does it really flex that much. I need to pull a small trailer with it. Thanks

So, first, I can confirm for you that the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75699 is a fit for your 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude so you got the right hitch.

In regards to flexing, that is an unfortunately something that can occur during shipping, and an inch is certainly within the range of how much it can flex. It will take some elbow grease but it is something that can be remedied, and I've added a link below to a help article which has some details on how to go about doing that.
